Prayer Leaders Needed:  We are going to add a special prayer for our nation and it’s division each week during the morning worship service.  We are putting together a schedule of people to lead the prayers.  Please contact Pastor Craig  at 304-255-4021 or Rick Smith  at 304-573-7123 if you are
interested in participating.

Thanksgiving Service Wednesday, Nov. 22: On Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 6:30 we will meet in the Sanctuary to share in a service of Thanksgiving.  So bring your family and let’s give thanks for another year’s bountiful blessings.

Upcoming Christmas Activities:  There are several upcoming Christmas activities scheduled in the life of the church that you should put on your calendar.  From the Chrismon Service on Dec. 3 to the Christmas Dinner, Christmas plays and such, that we've created a special page just for the Christmas activities.  So check out our Church Wide Holiday Activities page, and make sure that you have them noted on your calender!

Check out the trees in the foyer for Christmas:   For Christmas this year we have two groups we have adopted to purchase gifts for.  The tree with frogs and snails on it is for the head start children.  Their tags have their names and ages on them, and there is a $10.00 limit on their gifts.
The tree with the lambs on it is a family in need that we have adopted.  Ideas for the gifts are on the tag - there is no price limit on these gifts.  Gift cards are also welcome for this family.  TAKE AS MANY AS YOU WISH FROM EACH TREE!  Gifts must be returned by Dec. 17.  Place them under one of the trees with the tag taped on top of the gift.  If you have a gift card, place it under the tree in an envelope.

Help Needed for the Children's Christmas Program:  The Children are getting ready to start practice for their Christmas program, and Beth Stewart is in need of some adults to help with it.  If you are interested in helping with this program, please contact her at 304-683-6848 or by e-mail at jds0788@yahoo.com.

Bars of Soap Needed / Mission Opportunity:  The Jesus Lovers  (3 yr.– 2nd gr.) and Get-Along Gang (3rd – 5th gr.) are in need of bars of soap to deliver to Heritage House for their mission project each month.  If you are out and about, pick up an pack of soap or two, and place them in the big trash can in the foyer.   They will be doing their mission project the fourth Wednesday of each month. Their next mission opportunity to deliver soap will be Wednesday,Nov. 29

THANK YOU! :  We collected 68 shoe boxes this year, which is more than we did last year.  Thank you all for your participation in this mission project.  Your box of love will go to a child somewhere in the world, with a booklet about Jesus in it, and for some, it will be the first time they hear of him.  Keep your shoe box and Operation Christmas Child in your prayers, as they reach out to children all over the world with the gospel of Christ.  It leads whole families, and sometimes whole villages, to Him.
