Mission Opportunity - Backpack Ministry:  We are packing backpacks for kids to take home who are in need of weekend meals.  We will be doing this after Wednesday night Bible study each week.  Everyone is invited to participate in packing backpacks, no matter what age.  So if you want to help in a worthy mission opportunity, come to Fellowship Hall after your class on Wednesday night, and help pack a backpack.

Preparing for Packing the Backpacks: If you would like to help prepare the tables to pack the backpacks, be at the church by 5:00 pm each Wednesday night.  We will show you how we set up the tables, stock the tables, and set up the baskets.  Then you can help us put all the things in the baskets, and prepare everything for our assembly line.  Its a great time for fun, fellowship, and work in a ministry to help hungry kids.
Bars of Soap Needed / Mission Opportunity:  The Jesus Lovers  (3 yr.– 2nd gr.) and Get-Along Gang (3rd – 5th gr.) are in need of bars of soap to deliver to Heritage House for their Mission Project each month.  If you are out and about, pick up an extra bar of soap or two, and throw it in the big trash can in the foyer to help them out. They will be doing their Mission project the fourth Wednesday night during their class time, from 6:30 - 7:20.  Their next mission opportunity to deliver bars of soap will be Sept. 27, 2017.
Disaster Relief Mission Trip: We have a chance to partner with the local Salvation Army to feed victims of Hurricanes in Texas or Florida.  It will be a 2 week Mission Trip, dates to be determined.  Anyone interested in going needs to complete an online disaster relief course - see Pastor Craig for details.
Mission Opportunity:  We have an opportunity to have a Bible Study for men and women on Sunday evenings with work release inmates for approximately 2 hours.   If you are interested or need more information, please contact Bruce Meadows at  304-575-0475.
